What's To Come

Merry Christmas everyone! Yeah, there's still about 15 minutes left of Dec. 25th here, so have some completely non-holiday art. There's a bit of a double-layer to the title. On the one hand, it's paying homage to the upcoming second series of Sherlock (). At the same time, it's referring to a series of stories that I'd like to get around to writing, if time permits, that brings a number of French pulp crime fiction characters of the 19th and early 20th century to the modern day. Here's the lineup for you:

Middle - Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch)

Left - Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott)
Irene Adler (Lara Pulver)

Right - Javert (modern-day Inspector Javert from Les Miserables - Richard Berry)
Arsène Lupin (Matthew Bomer)

Radan, Berry and Bomer don't actually play modern versions of these characters, but at least two of them do play similar types of characters. I just chose them because they seemed to best suit the parts.

There's also a mystery character floating over everything, but I'll leave that to you to speculate on. If you want to make a guess, please comment on it!
